Dr. Valery Rudnev is the Director of Science & Technology of Inductoheat Inc., an Inductotherm Group Company. He is considered one of the leading global figures in the induction heating and heat treating industry. Dr. Rudnev has more than 30 years of experience and is known among induction heating professionals as “Professor Induction.” In 2006, in recognition of distinguished contribution to the field of materials science and materials engineering, Dr. Rudnev was elected as a Fellow of the ASM International. He has co-authored numerous chapters and articles for eight handbooks devoted to various aspects of induction heating, heat treating, materials science, computer modeling, and innovative process development. His credits include more than 50 patents and inventions (U.S. and international) and more than 200 engineering/scientific publications. Many of Dr. Rudnev’s publications have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese and he has lectured as a keynote/plenary speaker for many international congresses, conferences, seminars, and symposiums.
